Gorgeous production! It's sounds too cliched to say "I've seen this story so many times but never like this," but I found it affecting in very surprising ways. The conventions used for this production were great, and I don't want to give anything away in case there's a remount, which I would urge everyone to see. Bummed that I didn't know about this until just before the one extension show, but glad I got to catch it. ...

I learned so much about literary history by attending this true account of the life and times of Edgar Allen Poe, accompanied by his friends and enemies who were also authors, or presidents, or historical/fictional figures who were definitely real and exactly as portrayed in this show. 9 pustules out of 10, would bleed again....
