Hollywood Fringe Seeks Volunteer Coordinator

The Hollywood Fringe Festival is seeking a motivated and organized individual to serve as Volunteer Coordinator. As the festival enters it’s fifth year, volunteers are playing an ever-expanding role in ensuring the success and reach of our organization.
Duties include:
- Maintaining the organization’s volunteer roster
- Engaging with the public at all Fringe-run events
- Engaging with Fringe staff to assess volunteer needs
- Recruiting new volunteers and matching them to appropriate duties
- Managing the HFF Volunteer Twitter account
- Overseeing the organization’s Internship Program and ensuring quality intern experiences
- Scheduling volunteer shifts throughout the festival season (April-July)
- Ensuring a quality experience for all HFF volunteers
- Organizing volunteer appreciation events during the festival season
- Training volunteers for work at Fringe Box Office/Concierge
- Overseeing HFF Street Team activities during the festival
- Occasionally staffing Fringe Box Office/Concierge during the festival
- Further developing the HFF volunteer program
Qualified candidates should have prior experience with community organizing, excellent Microsoft Office/Google Drive skills, experience handling organizational social media accounts, and a high aptitude for public engagement.
